Hello everyone... I have a problem, I am working on the December challenge of resolutions and while I am getting things together and trying to move something over to my background on Adobe Photoshop... it says "Could not move because of scratch disks being full." How can I fix this problem!? :banghead: :banghead:

Do you have more than one hard drive? If so, you need to have the scratch disk reside somewhere else than where the software is running.

If not, you just have to stop and clean off your computer of everything you don't need. Photoshop needs room to run around with.

When I was running it exclusively on my laptop (single hard drive) because that was all I could afford for a long time, I had to do this about every 6 weeks or so.

But then again, I was backing myself up better....

Sounds like you need some housecleaning.

Oh - FORGOT to tell you how to change the scratch disk to another location if this is a possibility for you.

Go to Edit > Preferences and click through the choices until you come to the one that talks about your scratch disk. You'll see that you have a drop-down menu. If you have more than one hard drive, you can pick which one you want.

Anything but the drive your software is on will do (that is probably your C drive.)

Hope that helps!
