Hey everyone,
I had some things I needed to do today, among them talk to Ro. I just got off the phone with her and she said that it was ok to go ahead and post the results here since you all were so anxious! (Although this is not how we normally do things, you'd usually have to wait until the Saturday newsletter, and since that has already been missed, you'd be waiting another week.)

First, let me say I really appreciate your involvement and participation. It was a fun and exciting Staycation week! The Picnic Basket of Doom sure was a doozy!

The winner with the most correct answers of 34 was:
Christine Bowens, you have won a $10 Scrap Girls Gift Certificate

Then, we have the random drawings. Originally, we were going to have drawings for $25, $10, and $5. Since there were so many of you with high numbers of correct guesses, and no one in the 5-9 category, we dropped the $5 GC and added another $10!!

OH MY! OH MY!! I just jumped up and down and squealed and DH goes, "What did you win something from that stupid basket?" hehe!! Then he proceeds to give me a lecture about how doing this was just like gambling (how I put all my time into it just hoping for a return), but I'm totally blocking him out thinking about the goodies I'm getting ready to jump all over.

PS - Thank you girls for all your hard work with all of this... it was really a blast!!!

BTW Amanda, I agree with what Debi had said in another post ... SG has always told us that winner would be anounced the first Saturday of every month. So when we didn't see a winner on 8/2, I think we were all a little confused. We weren't trying to be mean or not appreciate what all of the SG hostess do, we just wanted to know when.

We do appreciate the fact that you gave us the answers "early".

I think the problem with this was that the first Saturday of the month fell too close to the end of the game. I remember one time when we had to wait a LONG time to see who won a posting contest (although we all knew it was Mary). By the time it was announced, I had forgotten it was going to be posted that Saturday and slept in a bit.

I'm sure the answers will all be posted. Please be patient. Btw, I'm truly sorry for causing anyone to give up grapes. That was my fault.

I won't tell you who made the cherries, though.

Ditto!! Obviously we didn't find some items, so we should be able to look at them in the boutique. Who knows, we might need to buy them after we see them. We can't buy them if we can't see them.....
