i print my pics off as 8x10 i know not really a "scrap page" standard size, but i frame them and get them printed at sams club in 4x6 as well
now ive always printed them from a saved jpeg file, im wondering if anyone uses bmp , and of anyone knows which one produces the better printd pic
THANKS

I always print photo's as either jpeg or tiff files. I think it's mainly a matter of the file compression and image resolutions that give the better prints. Tiff is my personal preference because I also tend to order prints at larger sizes than the norm (e.g. poster sizes). For my 8x10 photo prints I tend to use jpeg.

To have a friend is to have a shoulder to cry on, a hand to hold and an extra pair of legs when yours are too weak to stand alone...

I have been living buried in books and writing classes... as an added note I must say that it is rather scary when you start dreaming and all you can see within your dreams is words floating everywhere!

BMP (bitmapped) converts the file into tiny black or white dots. Don't convert you files to that, print from JPG or TIF.
