beejay
Hi Everyone! I've got ACDSee 10 Photo Manager & ACDSee Photo Editor 2008 and working on Vista op system (if that even matters) My question is ... is there any differnce beween "placing" or dragging images from Manager to Editor? It's so easy to drag but I'm afraid I might screw things up for down the road. thanks! Bobbi

Dragging and Dropping is just fine...I frequently drag images straight to the image basket in PE from PM. You can also load up your PM image basket, then highlight everything in the basket (or CTRL-I) then do tools>Open in editor>choose your editor. If you want to use the default editor you can set it up under tools>open in editor>configure editors then just use CTRL-E when you highlight the files you want to send over (make sure you check the box for supporting multiple images in the configure editors dialog box.) There is also an edit button in the toolbar as well as an edit option in the right-click menu. But any method works as well as another...just do what is comfortable to you. I personally use the image basket if I'm using stuff from more than one kit so I can CTRL-G for a credits list. HTH! Kristi
