brattylatina
I know how to change colors of custom shapes but how do I have more than one color on one custom shape? I have tried and tried and it changes the whole thing instead of the part I want. Example, in PSE6 there is a ladybug. I want the trim one color (no problem) but when I go to change the color of say the little dots, it once again changes the whole thing. It's driving me CRAZY!!! HisThao
Hmm, I don't know how to answer your question. I didn't know shapes could be multi-color, unless you rasterize the shape. Hopefully, someone will come along who'll be more helpful than I. Hang in there!
brattylatina
What does rasterize mean?
debilou
To Rasterize, means to simply the shape. Once you simply the shape you can do some more things to the shape...
brattylatina
GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRr....I did simplify the layer but it still won't let me color the individual parts of the lady bug. I know it can be done because I saw that exact same shape on a website and it was colored differently. Try, try again. Here is what they did: http://www.card-couture.com/item.php?item_id=
JenniferZ
I don't use PSE, but could you try to select the parts you want to recolor and copy and paste them to another layer and then change the color? For instance, if you wanted to change the color of the dots, use your magic wand to select them, then copy and paste them into a layer above the ladybug's body and then color them. Good luck!
