April Showers Posted August 23, 2008 Share Posted August 23, 2008 For today's color challenge, I challenge you to use this fun color palette I found at http://kuler.adobe.com called Poppy & Sunflower. Here are the colors. If you are a registered at the site, you can download the color palettes and load them into your "swatches" palette in Photoshop. I just double clicked on the saved file and it showed up in my swatches. Easy as pie. Pretty sure they work with Elements too. Don't have a layout done yet (my siggy is pretty close though)-- I am in Utah moving two daughters into the dorms this weekend and haven't had a spare minute. I have a terrible time getting good shots of my birds. Need a super-zoom camera. WOW, was I surprised when I printed out my LO from above!!! I almost didn't use that photo (and I deleted 4 others I took at the same time) because they looked so unfocused--even after trying to fix them with PSE. But in my printout, the little birds are as sharp as can be. Amazing! Guess that will teach me to not be so quick with the delete key. I have a large monitor and have always figured that if the picture didn't look good in a full-screen presentation, it wouldn't look good printed. Going to have to change my thinking and give everything a chance. Smile . . . I'm going to have to do a better job of printing as I'm creating, too!
