funfantasie
The bags probably aren't good for 4" wide by 6" tall pillar candle.? How big do the bags print out. My printer prints 8 1/2 wide. Thanks Lois
ChristinaP
I have never used these, maybe PM the person who made them?
cherise
Lois, Could you post a link to the product you are referring to?
cherise
Is this the product? ScrapSimple Craft Templates: Gift Bag If so, then it looks like the finished bag measures 5" wide and 2.3" (or so) inches deep. So probably not big enough for a 4x6 candle, unless the bag sort of bulges. If you don't mind that - it should work!
funfantasie
Yep, right item. I thought they were small, just wondered how small. Thanks for responding Lois
varanda
The bags are gusseted, meaning that on the sides, they can be folded in, which gives the appearance of more room, or you can leave them flat. They are designed to print on an 8.5 x 11 sheet. In order to get the biggest bag possible on a small paper size, I designed it so that you have to print 2 sheets to form one bag. A 3x6 candle will fit with a bit of poof but a 4x6 will want wider sides. The bag is 8" tall x 5" wide x 2.25" deep. You can create wider sides but it would take tabs on each side to secure to the front and back of the bag. You could also enlarge this bag, but you'd need a printer and larger paper. Bring it up 134%. That means it will be 10.75" tall x 6.75" (a bit less, actually) x 3" deep. It would have to print on 11x17 paper.
MelJohnson
Just want to add that I love this gift bag template. When I first got it, I was a true-blue bag lady. I was making bags for everything! I bet they'd make super cute gift bags topped with these, too.
