Shelbi
So I have a Seagate free agent pro. I have it for extra storage and autoback up. I don't always have it plugged into my laptop. Yesterday I decided to plug it in so it would back up the latest pics and scrapbooking supplies I have gotten in the last month. When I turned on my laptop it came on and said it was backing up stuff. Now when I turned on my laptop this morning it says it did a back up this morning and everything is up to date. Well I checked and it doesn't have any photos new then July 21 2008, now you KNOW I have uploaded photos since then, I just did some yesterday. And it doesn't have lots of my newest scrapgirls purchases on there either. Anyone have a good ideas as to what I should do? Thanks in advance. April Showers
We never use the software that comes with the hard drives. My husband has backup software that runs every night and backs things up to another internal drive. I use drive synchronization software to update what is on my ehd's. April Showers
My husband collects hard drives like others collect stamps. We have several different brands. I don't pay any attention to brand. Just which drive letter has which data. Sorry I can't help, I have a super-techie for a husband, so he sets up some pretty nifty stuff for me. Shelbi
After spending over 2.5 hours on the phone with tech support (who were very helpful and nice) we figured out that my laptop has the issues and not my EHD. yikes.
