SallyA
I see there's a class coming up for Wacom Bamboo but I don't have a clue what that is. It looks interesting and I might want to purchase it - but need to know what it's for, what it does, etc. Thanks!!!
PBarnes
The Wacom Bamboo is a pen tablet. A pressure sensitive pen device is used instead of your mouse. You can still use a mouse with it too. I switch back and forth depending on what I'm doing. I use the pen mostly when I'm retouching photos or when using brushes in PSE. A lot of users take up the pen and never use the mouse again. Scrap Girls has some wonderful brushes that have dynamic qualities where you can very the pen pressure for size and color variations. I highly recommend having a Wacom. You might want to check out the Wacom website.
