Guest noel Posted February 8, 2006 Share Posted February 8, 2006 This is so stupid but I can't get going in PS Elements. I create a layer which becomes background - which is fine. I create a new layer - Layer 1 and then try to add a paper or embellishment to it and boom! - it becomes my new background layer and the old background is gone. I can't have more than one layer. Have you tried to drag the new paper or embellishment from one file unto your layout? I'm not all that familar with PSE, but if we could get some additional information, I'm sure the PSE ladies will be able to help you better.
