Upgrade To Pscs2?

I'm a current user of PSCS and love love love it! I'm thinking about purchasing Ro's secrets though as a few things (like brushes) just still aren't quite clear to me. But I've been a PS user since version 5 and doing various things with it along the way.

Can anyone advise me if it's worth upgrading to CS2? Some of the new features look interesting, but I was wondering if anyone had upgraded and had an opinion.

:2468who-do-we-appreciate: My darling husband has agreed to the upgrade if I think I want it. :2468who-do-we-appreciate:

Thanks!

I started with PS CS 2 this go around...so I really can't advise you as to whether it is worth the upgrade cost, but I can tell you that I haven't found a thing wrong with it. It is a wonderful program.

Here's my opinion. I don't personally see a need to upgrade. I've looked at the additional "bells and whistles" list and I can't see why paying hundreds of dollars is worth it.

I am running PSCS and can do absolutely everything I want.

I'll wait until a later version that can do more. They are ALWAYS releasing newer versions.

I actually had the opportunity to upgrade to PSCS 2, but I am actually going to downgrade back to PS CS somewhere this week.
Why? The only advantage for me is is that I can see my fonts in the dropdown menu. I personally don't have a problem with ctrl clicking my layers before running an action ( you don't have to do that in CS2).

But CS2 is on my computer a BIG memory eater, slowing down my PS use a lot and I just don't like that. For the rest my computer runs like a train so no need to upgrade my computer just for PS. That's why I am downgrading to CS again.
I would wait just like Ro said untill a newer version comes out before spending hunderds of dollars :)
