What Do You *wish* The Scrap Girls Boutique Had?

[b]I wish the boutique had printables/designs that fit standard dies that many of us have already...[/b]like the big red Sizzix Originals Card and Envelope sets, The Coluzzle Takeout Boxes Template, the sizzlits 34 die "window and frame" set, the Quickutz Tags or the Boss Kut Journaling blocks and hinges.

Many of us are "Combo" scrappers. Part digital and part paper.

Some of us have all these great ideas to make things, but not enough time to create everything from scratch ourselves. If we had some quick items we could print out, then match up with our die cutting systems...we would have fabulous last minute card embellishments, easy custom designs for our scrapbook pages (that match the kits here) and little goodies that are just too easy NOT to have!

What I wish Scrap Girls had is a Harley Davidson kit - even just a mini kit! I am itching (literally) to get my hands on one as my son is named Harley and it would just be sooooo fitting! So please Scrap Goddesses answers my prayers

It's a lovely kit but I was hoping for some Harley logos, that kind of thing mainly, although now that I think about it I am guessing that it wouldn't work because it would be illegal to reproduce the logo - doh! I am tired, it's 4am here but I cannot sleep so I am stalking the board ;)

I reckon my next purchase will be Valerie's kit - indeed I do! Thank so much for pointing it out to me.

Well, we can't really do a Harley image (Or a Disney, or other licensed character) - it's a copyrighted image, and we could get in major trouble with Harley Davidson (or Disney, etc.) for recreating and selling (Or even giving away as a freebie) their image. They created it, they get to use it as they see fit.

Copyright is literally "Who has the right to copy?" Without paying MAJOR huge licensing fees, we don't have the right to copy that sort of image.

Yeah I figured that out hehe, I was having a :blondmoment: I'm afraid! Usually I do think of that kind of thing before opening my mouth (or pressing submit!) but it was early hours of the morning (any excuse eh!)

How about a farm theme collection I have some sketches of animals and fences and ideas like having seed packets with titles like "sweet pea" and "bean" and "sunflower" on them? I wish I could create it but I don't know how to create ribbons and tags. You can PM me for the complete list of ideas for the collection I think it would be perfect for spring. If you want some preliminary sketches just include your email address.

I would love something along the lines of a mixture of 2 existing scrapbook papers you find in scrapbook stores.

They are the Chester Florals (lots of different flowers--all different sizes to fill the page, not the same one repeated - BUT NOT RETRO) meet the Basic Grey layered (lots of light layers) grunge (distressed but not totally urban garage grunge, this is a softer grunge) look.

*Then a few of those said flowers as accents for our pages.

*And a few borders out of the above papers.

*Of course several funky, cool shaped tags for journaling or adding the above floral accents to.

*Whatever else your designer mind comes up with to make a MEGA kit.




Nothing too frilly.

NOTHING CUTE




Love the whole CHester color scheme too. Nothing muted.


I don't want to post photos of the papers because they are copyrighted material.

Just do a search for Basic Grey (by Basic grey) and Chester (by MAMBI = Me And My Big Ideas) if you need to see visuals.

Mind you, I don't want the EXACT same thing...just the feeling of the papers...combined.

Thanks for thinking about it. I have a ton of ideas in my head, but I don't know how to use my new Photoshop, Illustrator and Wacom Tablet yet.

My husband's Company Division from the Vietnam war is meeting for a reunion in April. I need an Army kit (thanks to the March contest I have a little green experience).

I may try to make my own. But let me know if you have anything I am missing.

AUCTION TEMPLATES!!!


Yes, I mean those things you just drop your photos and description into and use to list stuff on places such as eBay! I have found a couple sets (4 page templates for $12) of cute ones...but that's the problem...they're too CUTESY or primative country...ugh!

I would SO MUCH rather give my money to one of the designer's here to design templates from their FABULOUS kits! PLEASE make auction Templates with ScrapGirls kits!!!

I came across a rubber stamp set today and thought "I'd really like to have a digital set of lace borders"

the stamps that inspired this thought are:

My son was in t-ball this year and we went to many Buffalo Bisons games that are screaming to be scrapped!

Gosh, maybe I'm just missing it in the boutique?

I would love baseballs and baseball style stitching, peanuts, scoreboard style alpha hehehe

Any ideas?

Maybe a Mega Sports Collection! For the ultimate fan!!! And us "sports Mom's" too!

Football season and tailgating is in full swing and hockey season is coming up too!
Just signed my son up hockey that I will have plenty of pics to scrap...

That would be so very cool! Can't wait!

Template for everyday items that you insert pics into such as insertertable keychains, mousepad frames, coasters etc. and a template that is the perfect size to print a layout onto a CD label one with and one without the hole to create a CD shaped album using the printed CD sized layout and glue it onto a real CD.
