Thanks for welcoming us back! We missed all of you! It was such a thrill to have 132 Scrap Girls gathered together. It was truly a lovely group of women- very diverse in age and interests, but united by a love a digital scrapbooking! We had some great classes and I learned some things that I didn't even know I didn't know!!! (Did you follow that one?) I have a little silliness on my blog, but I know there will be a lot more shared over the next couple of weeks.

Thank you for the Welcome HOME! I am glad to be home...still feeling a wee bit jet lag but happy to have a nice quiet sunday! I didn't scrap much while I was there but I sure met a LOT of the most wonderful people and had the BLAST of my life! Thank You to those that helped me to GO and have FUN! Ro is a HOOT! You all would just LOVE her! I know I do and she has a wonderfully expressive face...her eyes light up with joy so easily. I also LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Paula Wright! She made sure everything was going as it should as well and is a huge blessing to SG. Angie, V, and all the design team are wonderful. I loved meeting Janine, Laurel, April, Shari, Jan, and of course our ZAZ! Met so many too...its hard to keep track of them all but the memories will Linger. Thess and Ngaire are so much fun from overseas. Caroline from Germany....

We had prizes, bingo, and lots of fun!

My biggest thrill was meeting my roommate Sandi aka scrappin'doc. We formed a quick and lasting friendship that will last forever if I have my way! Her personality and warmth are just as portrayed here on the boards.

TracEy is so much fun too....her photo on the mb does NOT do her justice at all...we need to get her a new one! I'm thining a lot of my comrades from the convention are saying the same about mine! hehe....

This is all I can remember right at the moment but as I start scrappin' again later I'll probably remember more!

Hey, gals!!

I honestly had the time of my life at the Convention -- and I know that there are many who will vouch for that. I laughed so much that my stomach started to hurt -- it was absolutely fabulous!! It was wonderful putting names to faces, and meeting so many wonderful ladies -- truly, truly wonderful. There was gobs and gobs of information --- my brain is full, in a very good way. The teachers were wonderful!! The classes were amazing, and it was just a fabulous time. I don't know if I'll ever catch up on my sleep, but that's okay --- I'll be there in a flash next year to do it again. Hmm. Some highlights?

There was, of course, plenty of purple duct tape. :) I'll be posting some photos and layouts of Angela Nussbaum in all her glory. Angela was hilarious, BTW -- she had a goal to be in every single picture, or at least a bunch of them, every time someone took out a camera. The results are pretty hilarious. She cracks me up!!

:) FUN TIMES, truly fun.

I am dying to know what the WANTED under my name means! SOMEBODY PLEASE TELL ME! Sandi told me it was there and I really didn't get what she meant, so when I looked today, sure enough, there it was! What am I wanted for this time! What did I do!! Oh, am I in trouble? Please, please, please tell me why I am wanted. :dancingelephant: :dancingelephant: :dancingelephant: :dancingelephant:

WOW! We came we saw and we scrapped. I had no idea I had 132 best friends. Everyone was wonderful, there was so much to learn and do it's still all got to sink in. Vaughande and TracEy are just delightful. There were a few of us that lurk on the board but I think we'll be on here a little more frequently now. Amazing does not begin to describe it and YES!!!!! I will go again next year.

Hope everyone has a safe travel home!!

Well, MJ, what did we learn? WOW, some amazing skills that I had always WANTED to know how to do! You will

immediately SEE differences in everyone's LOs, I am sure! I think they will put our scrapped pages public soon?

We hope, anyway.

PHOTOS? Someone said there were over 42,000 taken (and Angela really WAS in lots of them.) My own are on

my laptop, still packed with the camera, but tomorrow is another day. Angie plans to make them all available as

they reach her desk. I still need to send some of my photos, too!

I met ZAZ at the front table and became so speechless I could not even SAY her name OR screen name!

ChristyVW met me at the door and I could NOT put her name to my lips, either, LOL. BUT Angela the NUTT

was easily recognized and got an immediate hug from me, as well as Janine, and many others! Oh my, my, my!

What a weekend chat room event! I met MIMES (Amy) and BETHLANG and my roommates, Sue Cross (sailor) and

JoEllen (jeschaff) and ScrappinDoc (Sandy) and April Showers and All of the designers that attended!

Meeting Ro, V and Angie was so eventful... they are no different in reality than you know them on the boards

(except they are 3-D instead of 2-D, LOL)

(note to self: MUST do this again and OFTEN!)

Thanks for the warm welcome, everyone was fun to be with, our NUT is a NUT and more, Angela is just a fantastic goofball, it was wonderful to experince her in all her glory. It was a pleasure to see everyone connect, the classes were great, I learned some cool stuff, the games and duct tape and the wanted posters were a blast!

So much to tell, but I have to get off the MB and go design a SALE AD, bwahahaha.

Thank you all for the lovely welcome home...I missed you all too and would have loved if every ScrapGirl could have been there.

I don't even know where to begin to list what I learned or liked the best - all of the classes were fabulous, informative, and well put together. The whole SG team is amazing, Ro is just incredible, and all of the SG members are fun, creative, and loving. You can bet that I'll be pushing my way to the front of the line to sign up for the next one.

I also had a blast with my roomie Penny (PennyNoel) who is the Queen of U-turns!!! We laughed so much and have so much in common...she's the best!

The trip home was a bit rough with weather delays...it snowed in SLC... so I ended up crashing at 8:30 last night and didn't even unpack. I'm working today but when I get home tonight I hope to download some pictures - I'm sure that Angela, or at least some part of her will be in most of them...LOL.

More stories to come...

I'm thinking that we should all change our avatars to look a little something like Zaz's ... only the eye needs to be blood shot! You would not believe all the blood shot eyes there were from lack of sleep! I will tell you that averaging 5 hours of sleep a night, being in early pregnancy, and having a cold do not mix well to make pretty eyes! LOL! I crashed at 9 last night (it would have been earlier if my daughter had cooperated with going to sleep!) and didn't stir until 7 this morning! I'm still exhausted! It's almost noon and I've done nothing but feed my children and catch up on the boards! I guess I better change myself and my daughter out of our jammies and unpack and start some laundry that my husband so nicely stacked up for me to sort and wash! LOL!

I cannot wait for next year! I'll be bringing a baby! I can only hope to have one that's even half as good at Shalae's little Katelyn was. That baby slept through everything! I hardly heard a peep out of her!
