No problem, Meri Kay. I just fixed it for you. :breakdance:

If I am understanding you correctly, you want all four photos to be the same size on your layout.

One easy way to do it is to size one of them. And then drag the others on top of it and size them down to match. That is actually how I do it. Then once I get them to match, I just move them over to where I want them to be. Because PSE puts them on different layers, you don't have to worry about ruining anything.

Another way to make sure that they end up the same size is to use the rulers while sizing them. Go to view > Rulers and you will see that rulers appear by your photos. You can then see how large/small you are making them.

If you don't have photos that are the same size to begin with, you may need to trim some of them using the marquee tool and delete to get them to the same shape. Otherwise, when you drag them in, you'll make them look funky.

(To do that, use the marquee tool and drag a rectangle over one end of the photo. Then hit delete and it will cut off the end of it.).

Hope that helps!

[quote name='Betsy' date='Feb 22 2006, 10:51 AM']And remember to hold down the shift key to resrtain proportions! That way, they won't get stretched or squished looking.

Betsy,

Can you elaborate on restraining proportions. I've had trouble with some of my photos looking out of whack when I resize them. I did a LO of my husbands '69 Camaro and all the shots that I made small to put in a photo strip wound up looking warped.

Hey Deb! When you grab a corner of your photo, to resize it...hold down the SHIFT key at the same time and don't let go until you are done with your photo. This will keep it in proportion. If you should start resizing and FORGET the shift key, then before you finish sizing it, hit that shift key and it should get you back into proportion...
