Used to splash in the mud puddle but now I do walk around it -

Like to stand outside in the rain and just let it drench you and refresh you sometimes?

YES! I have had enough winter since December, before it was even officially winter. LOL (You can take me out of S. CA, but you can't take S. CA out of me, apparently.)

Mostly my photos do not get printed, but occasionally I print some when places like Shutterfly offer deals like "50 Free Prints!" I print them and put them in plastic sleeve albums just in case someday something goes wrong with digital data.

8x8 or 12x12?

I still haven't printed any LOs, but I am currently working on a landscape 10 x 8 album ... the actual page size is 9.6 x 8.2 and I'm really liking this size....only drawback is for some BG pages that are 12 x 12 and resizing them in a way that shows edges w/out distortion....

HOWEVER, all my other LOs are scrapped at 12 x 12, so we'll see what happens with those ;)

print LOs for top loading page albums or use a book printing service?

I like to decorate, although I have found some nice looking ones.

Do you prefer to place your printed layout in an album as is, or add a few embellishments?

As is?

Did you use a pagekit for your first layout or created your own papers, embellishments, etc...?

Did you know this game has deviated from it's original rules? LOL

It's okay. I'm subscribed because of my posts from almost THREE years ago, and the email notice I got brought me back to the forum! :D

The very first digital layout I made, in 2004, I used only shapes that I drew with my husband's copy of Photoshop 5 (not CS5, but way older! I said 2004!). It was mostly just the pictures.

This layout in my gallery is not that first layout, but gives you an idea of what I was doing the first few years, before I got my first copy of PSE in 2006, version 5!

Oops! I was distracted and pressed Send too soon!

My question is . . . Are you glad fall is nearly here, or are you clinging on to summer as much as you can?

I'm glad Fall is nearly here - right now we are having a wonderful "Indian Summer" kind of weather though and I am loving it!

Do you know how the military salute came to be?

This is just part of a long explanation but I kinda like the medieval thought!

"The precise origin of today’s hand salute remains unclear. From earliest times and in many distant armies throughout history, the right hand (or "weapon hand") has been raised as a greeting of friendship and to demonstrate the absence of a weapon. Courtesy required that the subordinate make the gesture first.
Another possible origin may be from the medieval period when the wearing of a helmet or "helm" was commonplace on the battlefield. This covered the face and, when presenting oneself to a superior, it was customary to bring the right hand up and lift the visor of the helm to reveal ones face as a sign of respect."

Do you have umpteen different kinds of cleaning products in your house or do you have just a couple that you like to use?

LOL - I don't know, Jane - speaking for myself though, I think it's probably because I was a military wife for 26 years! Patriotism is close to my heart!

When walking in a crowd of people, what is one thing that other people do that irritates you somewhat?

That is quite true when you're in a crowd that people touch you...

The other thing I sometimes find that a crowd of people can be NOISY! :gathering:

Do you like being in a crowd ??
