That amazes me. Is that common for zoos to send animals to other zoos? How are you doing, Amy and how is your Mom doing? We have a release date set for March 7. We tested her getting in and out of our truck yesterday and she didn't miss a beat from where she was before the fall. Today her hairdresser came in and gave her a wash, cut and style. She looks great and feels a ton better for just the hairdo! We had a mobility specialist come in and evaluate our house and made some recommendations for safety and increased independence so those items will be installed next week. We have a high top kitchen table, so we're changing it out for a standard height table and tomorrow we drive an hour to pick up some chairs I found on Facebook Marketplace. The stools are out! And, how wonderful that your Mom is progressing so nicely. Having hair done can not be underestimated - for anyone! So happy for you that things seem less stressful now. Oh yes! I got that wrong but you're right, I did post a layout/photo with slews of flamingos in them. (my "pink" page!)
