I am super excited because I just got a shipping confirmation email letting me know that my order of felt stockings is on its way!! I don't think I'm particularly crafty, but if my grandmother could sew sequins on felt, then so can I!!! :D After she passed away, I inherited her sequined tree skirt and matching table cloth. I thought it would be nice to have that same look to all of our holiday decorations.

I'm making me a Mr. & Mrs. Claus kissing stocking, DH is getting a Santa gardening Poinsettias, DD is getting a sugar plumb fairy and DS is getting a cowboy boot shaped stocking with Santa riding a horse. I hope I can get them all finished before Christmas!

Anyone have any pearls of wisdom to impart when it comes to felt applique? I've never done it before... wish me luck!
