HOORAY!!!

Thank you, Ro, for announcing this! I'm SO excited -- I saw the date, and my heart started pounding, and I am almost giddy with excitement!

How exciting!! The convention was amazing -- next years' convention will be equally - if not more so -- amazing, I feel!

If I had a 2009 calendar on my refrigerator, it'd be there... but I'm not likely to forget those dates! Hooray!!! Thanks, guys! I'm going to go and add that blinkie!

Sign me up too! Lord Willing I'll be able to save the money to go again! But I think this time if the Lord Wills, I'll take the TRAIN! Even if I have to leave a couple days early to get there on time and leave the sunday after to get home. My poor ears won't handle another plane!

Not yet. It will be sometime in 2009. The tax man would charge us hopelessly if we take in money in 2008 that we don't use in 2008. We have to use it up the same year we take it in or Valerie and I get slammed with taxes on it. It doesn't matter a bit that it is committed for something that will happen the following year. Small business taxes are enough to scare the hair off of your head!

So I have to make sure that we can spend all of the money we take in during that tax year or things get really dicey...

I think I'm going to go ahead and ask my ex to take time off of his work (lol) so he can keep the boys during this time. (His job is sort of flexible...now to see if he will be lol)

Maybe I should ask my DH first if we should take the boys with us...or if my DH even wants to go. Hmmmm.

I WILL figure this out!!!!

Definitely saving. Although I was hoping for a slightly different weekend. It just so happens that my friends DS has her birthday that weekend. She couldn't come last time, and likely won't be able to this time.

I brought it up to DH tonight, and he wants to come along! While I was hoping for a girls' weekend away, I can't really tell him "no". Though what he'll do is beyond me.

I'm saving my pennies up, too. There's no way I'm gonna miss the '09 convention.

Ro, you gonna be able to squeeze a few more folks in this next year? I know you don't want it to get too big, but seems like this is going to fill up fast. A little creative rearranging should get two or three more tables in. I am just so excited. I had so much fun and learned a bunch. But mostly I want to see all my scrappy friends again.

My CAFTAN has been stored in a place of honor just WAITING to be used again next year. I can't wait (although, it looks like we have another baby coming soon so i have to wonder if DH can handle FOUR kids on his own!)!
