I did 31 mins on the elliptical with the intention of finishing the other 51 mins after the meal. I didn't realize we would be playing the marathon card game.
Anyway, it was a fun evening and much to be thankful for.
I hope everyone else had a great day too.
I work the next 3 days. My goal is to get on the elliptical 2 of the 3 days after work for any amount of time. I usually just get a few things handled around the house and crash. So, this will be the making of new, healthy habit for me.
I also want to make a greater effort at increasing my fluid intake.
I'll keep you posted.
Hugs.

I'm going to a conference this weekend and will not have access to a workout facility. I may have to count the 0.3 mile walk as my exercise. Maybe I can climb the stairs a few times.
Next week I want to add 10 minutes of spinning to my elliptical workout. I'm shooting for my first Triathlon in May or June of 2009. I hope the weight comes off as a natural by-product of working toward the triathlon.

How about your eating? Let's get it under control. This is a hard time of year, I know. But keeping your fridge full of fruits and salads will make it easier. Need somthing sweet? Toss some cranberries in your salad. Plus some sliced almonds, feta cheese(or whatever you like) and some of Newman's Own Light Lime dressing. You WON'T be disappointed!!
I'm doing my 50 minutes on the treadmill now. Check in with me here!!

and I have been walking every day for 25 min. Not that much but hope to increase
it up to 45. It isn't the best area to walk around the confined apartment complex but I
have made up a route that works fairly well. I had a hard time with the kettlebells
when I wasn't feeling well so I think I will ease into them again a little slower.
Somedays I feel like a failure but then I try to think positive and even if it is 10 min or 20
it is better than nothing! If only I could tone up more & lose some inches around my thick waist!:

I'm working on remembering to do squats whenever I am standing somewhere waiting. I know it looks funny but maybe I can start a new shopping line fitness craze.
We could make a workout video at the conference next October. Anyone up for some purple power "do it while you wait" exercising?
Any other ideas for the waiting game exercises are appreciated.
I did 61 mins on the elliptical on Sunday. I'm not sure why but I was feeling really tired. I worked the last two. I will get on the elliptical late tonight. I have a huge amount of preparation to do for the conference tomorrow.
I may not be on the words until Sunday night or even Thursday. I'll be thinking of you.
Hugs to all of you.

We had a wonderful week at Disney, but now it's time to head home and get on the scale to see just how much damage I did. LOL We weren't too totally awful, but we weren't perfect either. We definitely splurged in the dessert area. But considering that we did walk about 40 miles this week, hopefully that balances it out somewhat. Not to mention the calories burned while waiting in line and when screaming on the rides. LOL
My most exciting news, however, is that I ordered the new Beachbody program ChaLEAN Extreme last night. This is the one I've been waiting and waiting for and it finally went live in the Beachbody store last night. I can't wait to get this and get started. This is the program that is going to help me reach my goal weight in March!
How are you all doing?

How goes it? Do you have new goals?? How did you do with your old ones?
I want you to spill it here. Tell me what you need to do and I'll help you do it. Get off your butts and get moving!
