Hi everyone!
I hope someone can help me with a question I have. Or at least tell me that there's an easier way to do what I've been trying to do!
First, I'm using PSE3.
I am working on making some grunge paper templates, and I'm playing around with what I made to see if they work. So, I'm trying to change the color of my template with my paint bucket, but with some of these areas, where it's just bits and specks of stuff, it's really time consuming and frustrating. My question is: Is there a way to select the areas with the Magic Wand and then dump the color with the paint bucket so that all of the selected areas are colored at once? I would like to think that in this kind of program there'd be a way to do that, but I sure can't find it!
TIA for all of your help!

I'm on PSP and I have PSE4 and remember they had something similar that maybe this will help...check under the Select menu for "similar". In PSP you modify/select similar/ and then pick either continous or discontinous if they spots aren't touching.

Jan, right click on the thumbnail in the layer menu of the item you want to color. Select layer transparancy. Then go to edit<fill. I think you can do that in PSE 3...

You can also go layer>new fill layer>color. That will add a color layer to the top and then you can cntrl g to merge the 2 layers
