Hi! If you're interested in applying for either being a layout or product designer, check out the "About Us" page. Here's the link: http://www.scrapgirl...m/About_Us.html.

As for getting your layouts published the best place to check is the magazine websites. Each one will have a section for submissions. This section will give you the email address to send your layouts, size requirements and what type of layouts they are looking for and the cut off date for them. There are some websites that list calls, I believe ScrapSubmit is one of them. But I usually just bookmark the websites and check on a monthly basis.
As for CT, if your interested in Scrapgirls like Erica said check out the about us page, read over the information found there and then submitt the required layouts. I can tell you from experience this is a great team to be on! The designers product you get to work with is outstanding and Mandy is one of the sweetest people you will ever meet.
Other CT's ..generally check out the websites/blogs of the designers. Some designers will have periods of 3-6 months for the term of the CT others once your on it, your on it until you decide to step down. It also seems to go in spurts..the first of the year there were alot of calls out, now I haven't really heard of many. Another thing you can try if you really like the designer is email them. Let them know you love their work and would be interested to be on their CT if there is ever an opening.
The main thing is don't give up, especially with getting published. Just because your not picked or they didn't choose to publish your layout doesn't mean they didn't like your work. Alot of times it's just a matter of your style or theme for you layout didn't fit what they were looking for at that moment.
I hope that might of helped some..and good luck!

Thank you so much! This is something new for me, as I am usually a quiet person, but know I have a talent, and would love to share it!

Welcome to the site Jen, but I did have to edit your post as it wasn't following the TOU (terms of use) above.
Looking forward to seeing your LOs and helping you with any questions you may have!

Well, I'm sorry Veranda. I must've misread the TOU. I am not, in any way, trying to get anyone to leave here, just wanted to give other options for what they are doing here. It said that it was ok to put a personal website on there, and HM is the only personal website i have. But i respect your decision.

I know you were doing your best, Jen.
But I also know how Ro feels about it, we no longer have websites in our own signatures. But I truly hope you'll stay, hang out, we are a friendly bunch and we are looking forward to visiting with you!
No worries!
