Altered art classes?

I discovered a place that does workshops not too far from where I live and took one there about a week ago. It involved altering a pair of shoes, and my gosh was that ever fun! There was more to it than that, but I really enjoyed it and plan to do more workshops there in the future. She gets some pretty impressive folks coming in.

That sounds cool!! How did you find this place? I cannot imagine they were listed in the phone book under "Altered Art"??? :P

I'd love to take an altered art class!!

I was searching under "book arts," kept following links, and there it was. I found a place like that last year, too, and did a six week book arts class there. Also in the middle of nowhere. Also not far from home. Go figure.
