Oh, and BTW, I could hear the commotion in the Boutique clear over here. Don't you guys just love the Christmas Music piping over the loudspeakers? It's great!! It's totally getting me in the festive mood. My only complaint -- maybe you guys can branch out from "Santa, Baby." I love that song, but don't you think that 5 times in a row is excessive?

I switched it to Bing Crosby classics. I particularly like "Silver Bells" for today. Can anyone figure out which line is my favorite today? You'll get bonus points!

My favorite part of that song is singing about the traffic lights... probably because at this time of year, I actually DO see them as Christmas lights - especially in rush hour traffic when all the cars have their headlights on and it looks like a string of white lights on a tree... *sigh* I love Christmas.

Now... off to check out the new stuff!!

Ding, ding, ding!!! Floss and Tiza are the winners of bonus points! ;)

I'll go dig up some more Christmas music for your shopping pleasure.

Did you that marketing experts suggest that stores play slower music so people spend more time in the store aisles? :D

Thanks JoAnn......now I can't get that song out of my head........LOL!! :santa-smilie::xmastree::santa-smilie:

Buh-bum.. buh-bum...

Santa baby, just slip a sable under the tree, for me

Been an awful good girl

Santa baby so hurry down the chimney tonight

Santa baby, a '54 convertible too, light blue,

I'll wait up for you dear

Santa baby, so hurry down the chimney tonight

Think of all the fun I've missed,

Think of all the fellows that I haven't kissed

Next year I could be just as good

If you check off my christmas list

Santa baby, I want a yacht and really thats not a lot

Been an angel all year

Santa baby, so hurry down the chimney tonight

Santa honey, one little thing I really need, the deed

To a platinum mine,

Santa baby, so hurry down the chimney tonight

Santa cutie, and fill my stocking with a duplex and cheques,

Sign your x on the line

Santa cutie, and hurry down the chimney tonight

Come and trim my chirstmas tree,

With some decorations bought at Tiffany's

I really do believe in you,

Let's see if you believe in me

Santa baby, forgot to mention one little thing, a ring,

I don't mean on the phone,

Santa baby, so hurry down the chimney tonight

Hurry down the chimney tonight

Hurry, tonight.

Here ya go... this one ALWAYS makes me laugh.

"Dominic the Italian Christmas Donkey"

Hey! Chingedy ching,

(hee-haw, hee-haw)

It's Dominick the donkey.

Chingedy ching,

(hee-haw, hee-haw)

The Italian Christmas donkey.

(la la la-la la-la la la la la)

(la la la-la la-la la-ee-oh-da)

Santa's got a little friend,

His name is Dominick.

The cutest little donkey,

You never see him kick.

When Santa visits his paisons,

With Dominick he'll be.

Because the reindeer cannot,

Climb the hills of Italy.

Hey! Chingedy ching,

(hee-haw, hee-haw)

It's Dominick the donkey.

Chingedy ching,

(hee-haw, hee-haw)

The Italian Christmas donkey.

(la la la-la la-la la la la la)

(la la la-la la-la la-ee-oh-da)

Jingle bells around his feet,

And presents on the sled.

Hey! Look at the mayor's derby,

On top of Dominick's head.

A pair of shoes for Louie,

And a dress for Josephine.

The labels on the inside says,

They're made in Brooklyn.

Hey! Chingedy ching,

(hee-haw, hee-haw)

It's Dominick the donkey.

Chingedy ching,

(hee-haw, hee-haw)

The Italian Christmas donkey.

(la la la-la la-la la la la la)

(la la la-la la-la la-ee-oh-da)

Children sing, and clap their hands,

And Dominick starts to dance.

They talk Italian to him,

And he even understands.

Cumpare sing,

Cumpare su,

And dance 'sta tarantel.

When jusamagora comes to town,

And brings du ciuccianello.

Hey! Chingedy ching,

(hee-haw, hee-haw)

It's Dominick the donkey.

Chingedy ching,

(hee-haw, hee-haw)

The Italian Christmas donkey.

(la la la-la la-la la la la la)

(la la la-la la-la la-ee-oh-da)

Hey! Dominick! Buon Natale!

(hee-haw, hee-haw)

(hee-haw, hee-haw)

(hee-haw, hee-haw)

(hee-haw, hee-haw)

(hee-haw, hee-haw)

(hee-haw, hee-haw)

White Christmas

I'm dreaming of a white Christmas

Just like the ones I used to know

Where the treetops glisten

And children listen

To hear sleigh bells in the snow.

I'm dreaming of a white Christmas

With every Christmas card I write

May your days be merry and bright

And may all your Christmases be white.

With every Christmas card I write

May your days be merry and bright

And may all your Christmases be white.

Goodness Gracious!

You girls are already on a roll this morning. :( I'm missing out on the fun!

But no fear, I am here now! Did you miss me?

Angie's Calendars are divine, I bought some templates to make my own, but I don't know if I can resist these premade ones- the are awesome....so so so so so tempting.

And the Christmas Count Down Collection and Brush sets are great.....this is making it really really hard to choose a Christmas Collection for this year. So many good ones.

So....Christmas Kareoke huh....let me finish my Dr. Pepper this morning...and I'll chime in with a song!!

Oh, there's no place like

Scrap Girls for the holidays

'Cause no matter how far away you roam

When you pine for the sunshine

Of a friendly face

For the holidays, you can't beat

Home, sweet home

I met a man who lives in Tennessee

And he was headin' for Pennsylvania

And some home made pumpkin pie

From Pennsylvania folks a travelin' down

To Dixie's sunny shore

From Atlantic to Pacific, gee

The traffic is terrific

Oh there's no place like Scrap Girls

For the holidays, 'cause no matter

How far away you roam

If you want to be happy in a million ways

For the holidays, you can't beat

Home, sweet home...at Scrap Girls!!

...I did a little modification ;)

Aarrrrrggggghhhh! Zaz, call off the elves. Every time someone in this thread mentions something new I run over to check it out and it is being tossed into my shopping cart. And the shelf stockers haven't even gotten warmed up yet for the Thursday extravaganza. Please, please, please make the little elves stop. :wobbly-eyes:

When Santa got stuck up the chimney,

He began to shout,

You Scrapgirls and boys,

Won't get any toys,

If you don't pull me out.

There's soot on my back,

And my beard is all black,

My nose is tickling too.!

When Santa got stuck up the chimney,

Achoo, Achoo, Achoo.

't Was on the eve before Christmas Day,

When Santa Claus arrived on his sleigh,

Into the chimney he climbed with his sack,

So full of SG goodies- he couldn't get back.

Oh, what a terrible plight, gangway,

He stayed up there all night.

When Santa got stuck up the chimney,

He began to yell.

Oh hurry, please,

It's all such a squeeze,

The reindeer's stuck as well!

His head's up there in the cold night air,

Now Rudolph's nose is BLUE!!

When Santa got stuck up the chimney,

Achoo, Achoo, Achoo, Achoo, Achoo, Achoo, ACHOO!

Changing the subject now (although I am really enjoying the Christmas karaoke). I'm totally into Charlene's suggestion that our brilliant designers come out with some dynamic brushes for Christmas. Those would be so great, don't you all think?

Sorry, they're hopped up on dark chocolate truffles and Christmas cookies this morning. They'll be taking their cocoa break in just a bit so you can breathe then. But beware. Cocoa breaks get them all revved up again. ;)
