Christmas Quiz

Let's play a Christmas game and the winner will get a $20 Gift Certificate to the Scrap Girls Boutique!

All you have to do is send in the product name and link to correctly fill in the blank of each of the following questions to aknussbaum@gmail.com. Use the subject line: Christmas Quiz and include your messageboard name and real name.

You have until Saturday, December 20th at midnight (MST) to enter. Everyone that gets the correct answers will be entered into a drawing for the prize. The answers to the questions are names of Scrap Girls products. You'll see... It's really pretty easy!

  • ____________ got ran over by a reindeer.
  • Chestnuts roasting on an open ___________.
  • Hang your ____________ and say your prayers.
  • ______ ____ ________ with boughs of holly.
  • The _____ bears a berry.
  • I open up my eyes to see a ________.
  • He's the mastermind.
  • Please take me back to ____________.
  • I wish it could be forever ____________ ______.
  • Don't be late.
Good Luck!

Angela

I don't know... I was doing fine until I got to number 6 and now am stuck stuck stuck. I just have no idea what those last 5 have to do with (well maybe one of them). Angela ... I would LOVE to know where you come up with these things :)! You have an extremely creative mind!

Will there be something to let us know that we've found the right product or are we shooting in the dark? I mean I can come up with words that fit in the blanks :D but I'm not sure that I can find the right product! What if it's a product name with lots of different products? OK - that made no sense to anyone but me, I'm sure. Let me try to re-phrase . . . like let's say the answer to one of them is "Cookie Swap." There are at least 4 different products in the boutique that are called "Cookie Swap." Will any of them do for the answer?

I'm betting that I'm really over-complicating this! Sorry, Angela! But your help is soooo appreciated. I love the games but don't want to go off wandering in the dark either! :P

I got stuck on 6 too (not that I'm really playing, but you know I just can't help it) but with Angela's "clue" I just thought like my child aged self, and I think I got it. :D

LOL I can only come up with 4 right off the bat. Just 4 fill in the blanks...haven't even looked for related products yet.
Gee, I either don't know Christmas carols or Christmas traditions well, or something!

I'd like to know this answer as well ... if it's not considered 'cheating'. And no, my children don't sing anything that sounds like number 6 :). Could it be a regional thing? Like something that kids do all the time in the western part of the country???

I will let you know if you did not get them right. But if its "cookie swap" then go ahead and give me the collection rather than one of the other pieces. :)

OK ... I think I just found number 6. I can honestly say I have NEVER heard that song before. Will have to check with my DDs but since I've never heard it, I doubt they know it or would have been singing it.

Angela,

You mentioned that you'd tell us if we got some wrong. If we send them in and get some wrong, do we get to try to correct those? :D Pleeeease? (Hey, I can beg with the best of them.)

Hm, I think I'm just as stumped on #8 as I was...I think I know the word that belongs in the blank, but haven't a clue which product it refers to!
7 eludes me completely...I sent in a guess and was incorrect. Hm...

Ugh! I'm stuck on 7, 8 and 10!! I think I figured out the word, but there is no Scrap Girls product with a title that matches that word. Am I understanding this right? We aren't looking for an item in the collection but the name of the collection or product itself, right?

I am stumped. Same as the others. Today is the only day for me to figure these out. We are going to MIL in far western Kansas that doesn't have internet. Wish me luck. thanks Ang for your help. I am resending the corrections, but still am royally stumped. The sad thing is I am a music teacher. I must be thinking too hard on most.

Okay -- the phrases are all Christmas-related, but are the products necessarily Christmas-related?? I'm coming in late on this and I am feeling not-very-sharp right now :(

I feel really not sharp on them and I have been looking at them since they came out lol. I know some of the answers but what on earth can they match in the boutique? Off to search - good luck everyone.
