Guest heartofwisdom
My 4 daughters and I want to exchange our work to adapt each others pages. I'm looking for advise on the best way to do this. I have Photoshop CS2 so does one of my daughters.I have two more daughter interested in digital scrapbooking. One is working with a trail version of PS and loves it but only has the budget for PSElements. PSE looks to me like it does almost everything PS does (I may be wrong). 1. Can files created in PSElements can be opened in PhotoShop CS2 with layers and styles intact? 2. Are there other scrap program files that can be opened in PS with layers intact? Thank you. angleigh
Yes, you can create papers, elements etc in PSE and reopen it in PS while keeping the layers and actions intact. Alot of times that is what i'll do since i'm so much more familiar with PSE then PS. I'll create my papers etc in PSE to the point where I can no longer adjust them. Then i'll save and open PS and put the finishing touches on it. Obviously you have alot more control and are able to do more things with PS then the Elements version. But for someone just getting started I would say PSE is a great place to begin.
Betsy
You can go both ways - between PSE3 and PSCS2 or between PSCS2 and PSE3 - not sure about other Elements versions.
