Guest chicmimi
Hi y'all...okay...am still struggling to create a layout that doesn't look like a spaz at work,it will happen or I will VAIO myself to death! I am trying to post a bit, spend a lot of time reading posts, and admire the incredible work on the site in the meantime in an attempt to feel like I'm "contributing something..."Just browsed the "blogs" and some are so well done! I have been tempted to begin one, my life is hysterically funny most of the time and everyone tells me "I should write a book..." but honestly, some of the "places" I've looked at to park one freak me out: some are pretty tackyand although I ain't no prude, some of those young ladies are downright sleezy,LOL! How /where did those of you who have your blogs here as well start one and wher would you suggest I try to set one up? Any/all opinions welcome and expected! ScrapGirlsRo
Just look above and you will see the link, "My Blog". That will let you start it. First it will ask you questions, like do you want people to see it, etc. Then you can just start posting. Have fun!
Guest chicmimi
...red-headed moment here...I see "blogs" but not "My Blog"...'ya mean I can actually start one here? I guess I thought you had to start one on a "blog site" and also post it here...clueless here at the ranch,LOL! Thanks so much Ro!
scrapsoflife
Yup.. Ro made it easy on those new to blogging and added it as a feature of the site. Of course, if you want one separate from Scrapgirls for whatever reason, there are lots of options. I started with Blogger AGES ago, and a lot of my friends have Livejournal accounts which are super-simple to use. I've had my own website for the past 3 years so use WordPress on my site (which my webhost supports, etc). Blogging is especially fun for those of us who like to hear ourselves talk a lot lol
