Santa warps our gifts, always has. I thought he wrapped everyone's until I talked to a few people. Now I'm curious, does Santa wrap your gifts?

I voted wrapped. Because while santa doesnt really wrap at our house .... its fun watching kiddos tear into their presents. I do leave some fun tid bits to play with in their stocking while waiting for breakfast to be done.

All the gifts under our tree are wrapped, and I'm not telling if it was Santa or Santa's helpers who did them!

They're mostly grown now, but with 7 kids I was lucky to get the shopping done, so I decided a long time ago that Santa didn't wrap! They each had one unwrapped gift from Santa, preferably something that kept them occupied and didn't make noise so we could get a bit more sleep. ;) Everything else was wrapped, so they had plenty to tear into. :D
Merry Christmas to all! :xmastree:

Santa uses different wrapping paper and labels than we do and everything. :) We use pretty normal wrapping paper, but Santa has always managed to find really fancy ones. Go figure. Occasionally he will leave something like a wagon or a bike unwrapped, but for the most part, everything is wrapped, even most of the stuff in the stockings.

Santa doesn't wrap one "big" gift for the kiddos, up until around age 12.

Santa used to wrap and even use special paper for each child, but they never really noticed all the effort Santa put into it, so he no longer wraps! Also, the kiddos would get so impatient trying to get all the gifts out of the boxes-aaargh all those twist ties!-so now Santa usually leaves his gifts out of the boxes, especially for my 4 year old. That way they have something to play with before tearing into all the wrapped gifts.

With young kiddos (they are 6 now)...Santa hasn't been wrapping anything.
The having-to-put-stuff-together or get them OUT of the boxes...dealing with twist ties or even screws...I'm glad Santa has them sitting out ready to go! :)

All the wrapped ones are from us (parents) or relatives.

Santa's gifts are unwrapped (and not labeled)...they are set out in front of the rest of the presents for quick access in the morning! It was always the thought that 'Santa's too busy to wrap presents too', lol!

Santa's gifts arrive unwrapped at our house. Much easier for traveling on that sled of his - LOL.

When I was a kid, we celebrated Christmas Eve, opened wrapped presents from our family after dinner, all dressed up, it was magical. Santa came at night to leave a stocking on our bed and ONE present under the tree, the one thing we wanted more than anything else. It was never wrapped.

I never knew Santa didn't wrap everyone's either until DH and I got into a friendly argument about it after we had children, lol. Apparently Santa didn't wrap anything at all at his house.
I think Santa just knew how much I love to unwrap things, and like April's house, even the little stuff (but not the candy) in my stocking was wrapped.
DH showed me a pic in one of my own childhood books of non-wrapped presents under the tree and asked hadn't I ever noticed that. My answer was that of course they weren't wrapped in the book b/c the readers all wanted to see what the kids were getting, lol;)

Now that I'm a "lazy" parent I'm not sure our Santa will keep wrapping either, unless our children complain. I didn't vote since my house is so mixed up.

We also open gifts with the family on Christmas Eve. Those presents are all wrapped.

Santa leaves all the gifts out of the box, fully assembled, batteries operational, and ready to enjoy on the hearth... Santa knows better than to knock off an ornament, or cause an ornament to be knocked off of my tree. That would put HIM on the "naughty" list. :D

Our presents to each other..such as mom to dad, parents to kids, kids to each other, are wrapped and placed under the tree. Santa delivers the rest of the presents, unwrapped, and fills the stockings for us.

Well Santa doesn't wrap at our house, that is my most favorite part of Christmas ! I love to look at what I bought for the kids and hubby and then to wrap them in pretty paper and bows, it puts me in the Christmas spirit. Now, that the kids are older , I do get help from some of them. The very best part is after they tear through the wrappings the living room floor is now full of all that pretty paper and bows that I so tenderly wrapped for them !!! What a picture that is !!!

Santa does the same in our house! Must be tradition ;)

That being said, I am pretty sure I got a memo from the North Pole saying things were a little behind this year :disappearing-smilie:

When I grew up there were three of us and Santa's gifts were unwrapped. Family gifts were wrapped. I wrap now as I just have one child.

I bet you have the best presents at your house April. I really need to fly out there and get some sewing lessons.

Santa doesn't wrap gifts at our house. And, funnily enough, the gifts that Santa brings are always the ones that , are the most difficult to wrap.....the ones mom and dad buy and wrap always come in nice, rectangular boxes. If it's some weird size or shape, Santa must have brought it. ;)

I remember when I was growing up, Santa never wrapped any gifts. In fact, there were a few times that Santa forgot to take the price tags off some of his gifts....I think that Santa was pretty busy back then. And I KNOW he's pretty busy now.

Santa never wraps our presents ... but we do seem to get a lot of wrapped gifts from The Elves, Frosty the Snowman, Mrs. Claus, Rudolph, and The Other Reindeer. And, of course, I wrap the gifts we purchase. :xmastree: :present: :present: :present:

We always had a bit of a mix. For the most part, they were wrapped, but big things and some books or oddly shaped items weren't.
