Pireps Posted December 29, 2008 Share Posted December 29, 2008 I purchased the upgrade for PSE and PSPE 7 from the Adobe site. PSE7 installed easily. But when I try to open the extracted Premiere files it says it can't open the file because it doens't know what program to use to open it. I know this isn't "scrapbooking" software, but I thought someone out there may have purchased this movie program too. I've been all over the Adobe site for 2 horus and can't find this problem listed, let alone a solution, or how to get an answer. Thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

michgirl Posted January 14, 2009 Share Posted January 14, 2009 I did purchase the downloaded version and had the most trying time trying to install Premiere Elements - you have to actually use download all of the files (I think total was 4) and then you can't click on the Premiere Elements file, but rather one of the other files start it - don't remember which one (I am at work and can't check) - but try one of those smaller files and see if that gets you going - If not, I will check when I get home this evening and get back to you!
