Guest heartofwisdom
I just got a scanner I'm scanning in 30+ years of photos. I have 11 children. You can imagine how overwhelmed I am. My daughter and I are going to create one giant family album (digitally) for everyone in the family. However, I also want to have a few pages of each child at different ages to focus on their individuality. I'm starting with my oldest son. Since our family is so large, many of the photos are of groups. I've scanned in dozens of family photos and I'm in the process of crop out his image from baby to 25. I have some great journaling from a book "There is Greatness Within You, My Son." My tentative plan is an 8x8 album chronologically documenting his childhood with the journaling. I need a neutral paper to match all the different colors. I was thinking brown and blue. I've gone through my magazines and on line and can't find many ideas for this. Please post links or ideas of college of one person. Thanks
HisThao
Hi Robin! I had the same idea to document the growth of my first nephew, Nathan. Here's how I incorporated his photos: What 3 Months Looks Like Your photos probably involve more than month-to-month changes, but using a calendar of timeline is one way to document stages or sequences. If it helps your project, there are calendar brushes in the boutique: A Year to Remember Brush Set Biggies which include calendars for each years dating back to 1971. I hope this helps!

ericahite
Hi Robin! Wow, 11 children! What a wonderfully big family. Just a thought, what about using a paper template for your tie-it-all-together paper? Then you could just change the colors. It could be a subtle way to pull everything together. Or of course you could change the colors of a certain paper. I think a nice stripe or plaid could work well accross the board. Then you have the freedom to choose completely different sets of papers, colors, and embellishments for the other pages. So the baby ones could be soft and pastel and the teenage years could be brighter colors? I'll let you you know if I see some layouts like this. I think a nice title to unify the layouts would be nice. Or even sort of an intro page for each child, at the age they are now. Let us know how it goes? I'd really love to see what you come up with. Just have fun! Erica
Guest Cropnpix
Well, it's not my album, Erica, but I think that's a great idea! They would all look different while still having unity and it would reduce how much she had to think about coming up with different ideas for everyone.
