LisaL
I am looking for suggestions on one that works. I take a ton of pics during bball season and I some of them could benefit from a program like this. Anyone?

justpattyanne
Noise Ninja... Looking for link now... (If I was as organized as you, I wouldn't have to look even a second, now would I? )
carych
Hi Lisa - At least you have the crickets to entertain you in the silence! I downloaded a noiseware application but never used it - and wouldn't you know it - I deleted it yesterday! I would suggest going to download.com and seeing what you bring up on a search and what users recommend. I've found them to be a very reliable site. Hope you find a good one! justpattyanne
http://www.picturecode.com/ You want the Noise Ninja plug in. I got the heads up on this from some pros in the Dallas area. These are the digital imaging guys that do post-production for the pro photographers. My Nikon D200 is SO NOISY in low light (it's only REAL downfall) and they turned me on to this. I give it a thumbs up and 5 stars and ... well, you know. You can do a free trial download - but it is limited and there are watermarks... but you could at least play before you buy it. justpattyanne
Of course, My REAL idea of a Noise reducer is trading up from my D200 to the D700!!!! (Can you see my "want it - gotta' have it now" justification mode kicking in?)
