I just brought mine home and hooked it up!!!!! I am so excited! I wish I had time to really play right now but...

I have to go pick up the kids. My daughter will be sooo jealous, she wanted one for Christmas but she is 7! I am already limiting her computer time not to mention, I couldn't let her have one before me now that my laptop is dead and my desktop does not have a pen for it!

How do you like that justification!

Have a GREAT day!

I've had mine for just over a week now and I love, love, love it. Just starting to realize its potential though. I wasn't sure I would really use it or like it, but its fantastic. I think this was a great tool to get. Worth every penny.

I have had the small one for almost a year and just in the last couple of days I have almost completely stopped using the mouse/pad on the laptop. The tablet is much faster once you get used to the area dynamics of the tablet. I am extremely happy with the small sized one. I think my arm would get tired moving around a larger area. I suppose the larger one would be an advantage for someone who illustrates, sketches, or otherwise creates embellishments and such,

I got the medium, because I want to draw and write with it. for just plain old navigation I think the small would actually be better. I do have to make larger movements with the pen. I haven't even used my mouse once since I first plugged it in. I got mine at Costco (online) It came with a mouse which I tried and put in the drawer. It is so cool to use with brushes. I haven't really created anything yet, but have just doodled for a couple of hours. My next SG 52 LO will have my handwriting on it. Stay tuned, may post it tomorrow.

I got the small less expensive one. I couldn't see paying $30. for software and a mouse - both of which I have. I love the small one and haven't used my mouse since I got the tablet. I haven't tried the dynamic brushes yet - have to do that. I got mine at Amazon - I think it was about $70.

Have fun!

my daughter came into my office last night and saw it for the first time... oops! She was so jealous! Unfortunately (actually fortunately for me) it won't work on her laptop (it is a small eee pc that uses linux). Now I may have to fight for computer time once in awhile but with the wacom, she can make birthday cards and such for me as she loves to draw.

I am still initially playing and working on it, I am hoping this weekend allows me LOTS of time to play.
