Jan 30 is a great day to be born !! I wish your family the best I got goosebumps for yah Wahoo I am so excited ! You as a doctor should know babies come when they want LOLOLOL...Why would they want to leave a nice warm comfy spot that Mummy is doing everything for them ? LOL Congrats & I will be waiting for the happy news!!

Just false labor. Gave her more fluids and sent her home again. But.... cervix is thinning and baby's head is engaged. Can't be much longer. When I'm on call, I have to stay in the hospital until 9 pm, so can't leave before then. Have to be within a 5 minute response to hospital and DIL's hospital is clear across town. But, maybe someone could cover for me, hoping anyway.

Argh! Well, guess it's good since you're on call (I remember those days well while in the cath lab). Hopefully, you don't have call tomorrow! Might be time to "call in a favor that's owed" if you do or "try a real good bribe" if necessary!

Talked to the kids just a little while ago. Waters broke, epidural in and working well, pitocin running, slow progress, but progressing, Brianna's comfortable and they were just having some quiet times. The nurses say they are the most fun couple there tonight. I'm still at work and its a zoo. All kinds of craziness here. No way I'm going to get away until after nine and I'm probably not going to see them until in the morning.
Another call, we're at nine now. Getting close. I'll have a chance to leave here in about an hour.
