its half term next week so I get to spend some quality time with my son
we are planning some visits to family including my brother who is 50 next week.
I also hope the weather improves so we can get out walking a little - I have to have surgery at the end of march and seriously need to improve my fitness before then

Enjoy your time off, you should be OK as there aren't any weather warnings about, and birthday greetings to your Brother.

2 More Days! You can do it! The last day before vacation is always the longest, but at least you have us to keep you company! Have some nice time off Catherine!!

Woo hoo, a vacation! Hope you have wonderful weather and a great time. I so look forward to my kids' breaks from school -- and then I find myself looking forward to the end of the break

I have to have a subacromial decompression

I really need it now as the pain in my shoulder is almost totally debilitating. However, now is not a good time at work - I am in the middle of a big project which has a deadline of end of March and I must complete it. Basically my job would be at risk if I were to take extended time off work right now. The surgeon has warned me it will be 3 - 4 works off work so I have had to plan it round my workload. So, its booked in for 27th March and I am gritting my teeth in the meantime. I can't take anti inflamatories and my recent steroid injection ade no difference and the pain is driving me potty. I sometimes forget and try and use my arm normally and the pain virtually floors me, literally breathtaking. In the great scheme of things its not that serious but I would be lying if I said I wasn't worried. Anyway, we have planned round it- Vince is taking a week off work so he can get Nathan to and from school. After the first week I will have to take him either on the bus or in a taxi until I am able to drive. And on the plus side I should eventually be painfree and have my full range of movement back
so, roll on the end of March
