I don't have any great suggestions for you. I just did some research a few days ago looking for workout playlists and didn't come up with much of anything I liked. I have an Itunes GC that I got for Christmas and still haven't used it b/c I am looking for some good workout music. I'm not big on hip hop, dance mixes, or hard rock, so what else is there? Apparently not much! I would love to hear other's ideas.

Debbie, Music is so important to getting in that rhythm.....I just went for a jog and am currently into "Miracles" by Jefferson Starship! Good luck with your playlist

My DH and his friend produced a fabulous workout CD, which I use pretty much every time I work out. It's interval based, 3 minutes of music alternating with one minute of resting beat. Perfect for my workouts!

Corny as it sounds, I workout to songs from the original Rocky movie! I also love the song "Proud" by Richard Niles and "Footloose". It took me awhile but I figured out my rhythm on the treadmill and alternate high energy songs with slower songs. I love country music so my slower ones are country songs. I use songs that make me remember to appreciate what I have so that my workout is also a "think positive" time - something we need now with business problems we're having due to the economy!
Some songs I use: "You're going to miss this" by Trace Adkins, "So Small" by Carrie Underwood, "Remember When" by Alan Jackson, "Don't Blink" by Kenny Chesney. "Little Moments" by Brad Paisley and it always makes me smile to listen to "If You're Going Through ***" by Rodney Adkins.
Hmm, I just realized I didn't give you much for the high energy songs. Guess you can tell what kind of music my psyche needs right now and, somehow, listening to them while I do physical activity gives me a better perspective on my day.
