Guest heartofwisdom
I'd like to make a calendar for my mother with all the bdays and anniversaries listed (we have a big family) by month. I can't use the calendar template because it’s only for 2006 (unless I can tweak it). I was planning on an 8x8, 12 page (one for each moth) book with photos of each child next to Bdate. Any ideas? I don't think Ican use traditional calendar squares because they fall different each year- I'll have to make lists like: January 12 - Victoria 30 Daniel Etc. Thanks. Betsy
Great idea! I think that's called a Perpetual Calendar - maybe Googling that will offer some ideas?
scrapsoflife
Yes, a perpetual calendar is what you want. When I was with CTMH we had one that was a long skinny calendar with space for decoraing up top and then numbers down the side of the page with a line next to each for the recurring events. You could probably adjust that any number of ways but since I just came into an inordinate number of 4x4.5x1-inch data tape cases it occurs to me that an accordian book fit inside a container of some sort would be a really neat way to do that. Or you could use fold-out pages, album style, with the month name and decoration on the left-hand page, the first 10 days on the outside of the fold out, the second 10 days on the inside of the fold-out and the last 10-11 (or 8/9 for february) on the reverse of the name page. Does that make any sense to anyone else?
