My sister gave me a Kindle2 for my Bday!
I love it. Once I start reading I don't even think about
it not being a "real" book. And you get your order so fast ---
I'm really going to have to pace myself so I don't read
myself into debt.
Do you think it is worth the $65. to get the 2 year
extended warranty?

Not sure if it is needed or not but I got mine. I love my Kindle 2. It is the greatest invention since sliced bread, or digital scrapping. Whatever. I never know if I should pick up my laptop or my Kindle. And I love the instant downloads. Its faster than standing in the checkout line at the store to buy a book.

Kricket I saw your post on facebook. Sorry I didn't answer faster.
I haven't even read the email yet LOL.
I haven't decided yet if I am going to get the warrenty. Is there a time frame we have to get it by?
For the record I love my kindle too!! I had to pace myself with the buying too, so I have downloaded lots of the free books and am trying to figure out how to do the library thing.

I think I'm going to go ahead an get it. And like you Sandi, I'll hope I never have to use it!
I've only had it a couple of days and already started a 2nd book.

Mike and I didn't get the warranty with ours, and we've had them over a year. Actually, I had to get a replacement for mine a few months ago, while it was still within a year of purchase, and they sent me a new one immediately. But Mike has had no problems with his. Now, if you should accidentally drop it, and you don't have it in a cover, and it breaks....ouch!
