KFiasco
My laptop screen is not working (light bulb or something worse). I was a little bummed, but thrilled that I had recently copied my Adobe Photoshop to my EHD. When I took my EHD to my dad's house and tried to open it, it gives me a warning. "Could not complete your request because of missing or invalid personalization information." Does that mean that I can not use it from any computer other than my original laptop? Thanks in advance, Karen
J9Buckles
It might.....but you could run it from your laptop and use another computer's monitor. A cord to connect your laptop to an external monitor is only about $15 (in Canada so it's probably about $8 in the US ). Hope that helps.
April Showers
You generally can't run programs from an ehd. You can install it on a new machine- done that more than once- but the way the serial numbers work, you can't install it on several machines. I've heard that you can put it on a desktop and a laptop and be okay.
J9Buckles
The licensing allows one installation on a desktop and one on a "portable" device ie: laptop. .... as long as both desktop & laptop are owned by the same household/person.
KFiasco
Thanks, ladies, using another monitor was going to be my next step. I can't afford another competer now (this one has a lot of goodies on it). I hope I can make this work. Karen

tiza126
Don't worry about the typos Karen...we can understand what you meant Around here, we are very good at the "language of misspellings"! And it's nice to meet another Scrap Girl from St. Louis! Hope you find another monitor to use so you can get back to scrapping soon.
