I have been so busy and tired the last week I am finally getting around to my announcements. After my Doctor's appointment on the 3rd I went for a long three hour walk that started contractions. They were regular but still didn't feel like it was coming. We were all on edge throughout the night but by morning they were gone. Tried another walk Saturday to start them back up again and nothing. I started getting very irritated. My DH searched the internet for all kinds of inducing techniques. Walks weren't working, next on the list was pressure points, those were too painful. Third, I tired pineapple. I ate a whole fresh pineapple, very yummy and a half an hour later I was in labor. Got to the hospital at 7pm and our little boy arrived at 10:06pm. It was fast and pain free, thanks to the epidural. He is a such a cute little baby and so good. We all love him dearly!

Oh Jen, he is adorable! Makes me all soft and squishy inside just to look at him. And those eyes! You know, I can see quite a resemblance in even such small pictures. The Easter Basket shot was prefect! I agree, he looks as if he could be a month old!
