That is a very pretty kit, Carol!

I would like to scrap a photo of mine and my DH's wedding rings. Someone recently did a LO with this and I really liked it!

I'm still working on my wedding album - I've been married 23 years next month. I started as a gift for hubby last anniversary. Can I get it scrapped for this anniversary?

A girl has to have her priorities straight. Its mischief week for pete's sake, what could possibly take priority over that?

sandy, if you want to scrap blessings (which is a great idea), sign up for the Month of Gratitude class coming up. A mini album in a month with a different thing to be grateful for everyday. Mary Elizabeth is the instructor and her class materials are worth more than the class fee. And we have such a great time sharing.

I'd like to do a layout for my late Aunt Rose's wedding and 50th Anniversary. Have the idea, just need to find a good picture of her on her wedding day.

Sandi, did I miss the Month of Gratitude class already? I looked and didn't see it posted anywhere, but the way things have been going lately, I could easily have missed it. That sounds like something I would really like to do. I just finished another List of Campbellisms - it is just a list, scrapped, of some of the funny things my 5 year old comedian grandson says - he does not think he is being funny and gets his feelings hurt if we laugh, so I just make a note of them and then do a page on him for his latest laundry list of Campbellisms! It is such a fun layout to do.

I came across a box of old school pictures and was thinking that someday I would like to scrap each of my siblings class pictures in chronological order. It might be a little tricky since many of them are not dated but I'd like to add a collection of layouts .... someday

Some day I'd like to scrap my wedding pics and my parents'. My Dad took so many beautiful pictures of my Mom when they were dating and on their honeymoon. He never took courses in photography, but wow, did he have an eye for composition and form! He had some photos enlarged to 8" by 10".

Some day I'll have to scan them first. :winking_baby:

I could probably scrap the list of things I need to scrap!!! Top priority should be my wedding (11 years ago), my children's births & lives since then; the 12 places we've lived since our wedding; my husband's achievements since I've known him; our holidays; and my trip back to my homeland (New Zealand) last September ... and included in that is meeting up with Jane from NZ!! So much to scrap ... so little time!!
What a wonderful topic - so inspirational!! I'm loving being back on the MB!!! Wahoo!!

That would be sweet, Laurie. Maybe you should scrap out the layout and leave a place for the picture when it happens - someday. :)

That makes me think that someday it would be fun to scrap details of prizes won or memorable contests entered.

I think that I have a picture of that coveted Donny Osmond album I won in high school. Boy, that dates me (and probably marks me for bad taste).

Over the years I have been able to part with a number of "treasures" because of photos I've taken.
I need to do a batch again!
I first read about this idea in Gail Sheehy's Passages (or maybe Pathfinders, the second one).
Maybe we need a Scrap Girls Clutter Releasing Support Group!!!
We could encourage each other to bless and let go things that once had meaning.
:)

I wonder if we could extend this suport to my dh. The project of the summer is to go through the garage so that we can sheet rock and add heat. He's a terrible (although lovable) pack rat and I just know that we have shelves of things that didn't make it into the new house five years ago because we had a finished basement. I'm sure the "treasurers" and the "don't know when you might need..." items have grown since then.

This thread has been so fun to read - gosh there are so many things to scrap. Which makes me want to ask how many projects do you have going at one time?

I want to scrap:
My siblings and I growing up (started but not finished although it would be nice if it could be by Christmas)
A book for each of my grown children of their childhood (oh if only I had digi scrapped back then)
The Hawaii Story - the year we took my Mom and Dad to Hawaii - it was Moms last wish - she died of cancer shortly after.
Now my daughter has suggested that I put together some of the families favorite recipes with pictures and a little commentary of who they came from - sounds like fun.

Hmmmm .... Scrap Girls 52 and .... ? How many projects can I work on at a time?

Find photos and memoribilia from my teenage years (1968-1974) and find things from that time to put in there...girl scout book from that time, record albums, bands, teen center tickets, etc....this would be great!

This is a great topic! As has already been said, it is definitely inspirational!

I'd like to scrap:
my daughter's baby album (she's 3 now and the whole reason I began scrapping was to do that and um..haven't even started)
a recipe book of meals I cook often and ones I haven't tried yet
a book of me

My Mom's recent search for her wedding album prompted me to add a wedding album of Mom and Dad's collected pictures to my list of things I need to scrap -- when I get a chance.

And I already have a legacy book for Mom and Dad on that every growing list.

I think I will also add a recipe book with my recipes, mom's, grandmom's, sisters, etc and make it to give as gifts to our daughters and granddaughters, sons, etc. I have a lot of "legacy" recipes and with my MIL, GM and hubby's GPs gone, I have them in an old cookbook MIL kept, so it should be good. Also was able to find some of the old recipes in church cookbooks that they contributed to over the years. Already did one "freehand" with illustrations for the different recipes, but everyone keeps wanting me to do one for them....thank God for SGs and digi-scrapping.

I most enjoy scrapping layouts of my children and grands, but am now working on pages of my Mm and Dad - Daddy has kept soooo many pictures that I think I may be busy for a long time. I also love scrapping of places I have lived and visited. Got some great ideas from all of you too!

Thanks for bringing this thread back, Sara. :) Neat ideas here!

And Ashleigh, I'm right with you - I started digi scrapping to do an album of a trip of ours (for my dh) and I still have yet to make that album.

I've always wanted to scrap a series of essays for my children - essays on life lessons learned.
My trip around the world.
Wedding
trips
so many things on the to-do list! :)
