Woo Hoo! The Magazine Finally Came! First Published LO!

I've been waiting to see my first published layout since the day they asked for the hi-resolution file. When I saw online that the new edition had been released, I started frequenting the mailbox only to return like a sad puppy whose playmate just got on the schoolbus. But not today! There it was...Scrapbooking Memories (an Australian magazine not sold in the U.S.). I scrambled to the Table of Contents to find the Autumn section.....and the very last LO in the section is MINE!!!!!!! <<insert angels singing here>> As I was getting to mine, I found beautiful LOs by Janine (J9Buckles) and April (April Showers). And in the last section of the magazine is a lovely page by Christy (ChristyVW).

It's so incredibly cool to see the page in a "real" magazine. Called my mom...she's proud! (Isn't it great that our Moms and Dads are still as proud of us in our 40's as when we were 4!) Can't wait to show the girls when they get home from school. I know I'll get a hive five or two from them!

Now I'm off to find that I've been Published blinkie!

BTW, thanks to Julie and Christy for encouragement and advice on this one! And of course to SGs for great products and encouraging me to step out and submit something! (Sounds a bit like I'm accepting an Oscar or something...I'm pathetic!
