Guest watmuzzer
Hi there I'm a little confused about paper textures. Are they the same thing as templates? I have both and they seem like 2 versions of the same thing. Cyndie
varanda
Bet you have mine and that's why they seem like the same, and in a way, they are, but they are different types of files used differently. Some designers make small textures that the program copies and pastes over and over to create a texture that covers a large space. I wanted to specifically emboss my paper template pattern EXACTLY, and control the results for the end user, so there would be no misalignment. Wen I created my Scrollworks and Ironworks paper templates, I made Mission Embossable Textures. Now, you can use the textures alone, and the paper templates alone, but when used together, they will exactly emboss that matching paper when used at 100%. So yes, they look the same, but have different uses (and file types) for different people.
