Join Laurel (laurellakey) and Janine (J9Buckles) for a National Scrapbooking Day Sketch Crop Challenge! We'll meet in the chat room for some fun while we scrap... or just have fun even if we don't scrap! A sketch is an image that gives you ideas for placing the elements of your layout; your photo(s), embellishments, journaling, title etc. You can follow the sketch exactly, rotate it, flip it or use it as inspiration for your own creation! The sketch will be posted a few hours before the crop so you can get a head start. We look forward to seeing you there!

Including a quote on your layout can be a touching and meaningful addition, especially if you use the quote to create your own word art. Here's how it will work - early Saturday morning, we'll post a thread on the Chat section of the board giving you the quote that you will use to make your own word art. It's not hard, and we will have a layout with a Word Art example in the gallery. Then we'll meet in the chat room to have fun, chat, and create our Word Art layout! Everyone can participate and create a layout, even if you can't make the chat. Hope to see you there!
