Guest spec_ed
I would like to add a monogram to one of my digi pages but can't seem to "cut" the letter (or get the marching ants around it) from my background page and paste it into my project. Anyone out there know how to do it? I am using PSE3. Thanks! Sandra
Betsy
Try this - hold down ctrl and click on the letter in the Layers Pallette - that should give you the marching ants. Then, still in the Layers Pallette, click on the layer you want to cut the letter out from. Hit delete. Throw the letter into the trash can or make it invisibile (Hit the eye on the Layers Pallette). Should be all cut out! HTH!
Guest spec_ed
Thanks for your help! I managed to find an easy way to do it ... I selected the Horizontal Type Mask Tool. Once I typed the letter onto my background and then selected the move tool, it automatically cuts it out - ready to be pasted into my project. It was a snap!
