Freeing Up Space can you just use an ehd?

Can you just store all your pics only on an ehd an not on your laptop so you don't ever have a problem with space? then you can just pic the one you want off your ehd and send to pse? can this be done?

Yes! I store all my SG Supplies and Pictures to my EHD. I also have copies of both on DVDs and as well as Backup Pics on my Hard drive since mine is a desktop not a laptop but yes you can store on a EHD

Barbz, yes you can do that. I have all of my scrapping supplies and pictures stored on my EHD and when I want to use one, I select it from it's path on the EHD and open in CS3.

well, then cool I'm just gonna take all pics off my laptop and put them on a ehd...then I won't ever have to worry about space...do you use dvd r or dvd rw?

Just keep in mind, if you use the PSE Organizer, ACDSee or any other type of organizing program, to move them within that program to the EHD. Otherwise, all of your links to the files will be broken b/c the program won't know that they have moved when you go to use them next time.
