Why is it that when a layout is chosen for publication, it is removed from the gallery and I see a placeholder "out for publication"?
I have always been curious.
Thanks.

"Please remove the following project(s) from any online galleries, forums, blogs, or other public venues"
Publications like to be the only ones displaying the image. Otherwise, why publish it if their subscribers can see it on the web?
Rather than delete the image, and lose all the comments and the image description, I simply replaced the image temporarily. I did it myself per my agreement. That way, later after it's published, I can put the image back into the gallery, preserving the comments and image description.
