Help
President Obama is in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia today. Dh is stationed there and he has some big installation event going on today so he won't be able to Skype. Their group was in charge of setting up for the event, but he couldn't tell me anything else about it. Hmmmm, I wonder.....
Dh has already met Secretary of Defense Robert Gates, taken photos of Katie Couric, and listened to a speech by 4 star General Dunwoody (the 1st female general). Could he really be meeting the President today?? (while I deal with petty children's issues? Yes, I'm jealous if he is!!)

That's so cool, Carla! I'm thrilled for him and the other men and women there. It's things like this that make being there a bit more bearable (on their end at least

Well, I heard from dh and he didn't get to meet the President. I guess the President was there to talk to the King and move on, not visit the troops. Whatever dh's group was planning had nothing to do with the President. Bummer!
I've trained dh well...he sent me pictures of Sec. Gates and Katie Couric. I need to scrap those!
