After another frustrating evening I'm asking for help!!
I've CS2 and the actions wont work. I cant click the play triangle at the bottom of the palette, instead of the cursor I get the circle with a line across. I don't use actions alot but last week I was playing with Photo2Paint, so I was pressing the right buttons then. Advice please. But I am going to bed now, it's early hours UK time.

Eileen,
I'm sorry you are having problems. I don't have any advice for CS2 but I'm gonna bump this up to those who do use CS to help you out.

One common first line of defense for photoshop users is to reset the factory preferences. When you start PSCS2, hold down the ctrl+alt+shift keys (if you're using a Mac, cmd +alt+shift) and when it asks if you want to delete the settings, click yes and it will rebuild your preferences the way they were when you first installed it.
That might work.

Thanks Vaughnde and Rose Ann for your help. In one of my awake times during the night I was wondering about clearing the Actions palette and re-loading, similar to the brushes technique.
Away I will go, and after an enjoyable visit to the MB and boutique I will try again. Who knows after a good night's sleep Actions might have healed itself!!
