Penny...can you put a link to the specific product?
I see one...but you can't design the back. Is that the same one?

It's the chubby business card:

http://www.zazzle.co...m/businesscards

You'll see on the page free 2-sided printing. Below that is the "Design a Chubby" card link.

(Did I mention that I love my cards!!)

Penny, what is the "durability" like. Are they matte and the weight of business cards? Easily bend? And, Charlene, what do the ArtsCow playing cards look like in terms of matte, semigloss, etc.

The stock is a really nice (heavy) quality with a beautiful (sort of shiny) finish. Much, much nicer than the cards I printed myself last year. Really, to me, they look very similar to baseball cards. And I do believe that in the creation stage that there are several paper choices. They are shipped in a plastic case that really protects them. I'm very pleased with mine.

You can also design your own pair of Keds at Zazzle ~ might give that a try, too! I could use some Scrap Girl slip on shoes. The hard part is deciding which SG kit to use for my creation!!

I can't get to Valerie's link - it just takes me to Safari and says it can't find that page. Any ideas?

Penny,
Can you post yours - I have no idea what to put on the ATC card besides the design of course - but what kind of info do we include, etc.
I would like to see one - I did go to the site you suggested but wasn't sure what I wanted to put on it - is it just kind of a bio about ourselves or what? Would love to see yours - when you post it, if you do, let me know so I can look at it. I have never done an ATC card and sure don't want to be the only one at convention without one. It sounds like fun - help?

Really, Keds you can design? I didn't get that far yet. Would love some advice.

Hi Sara,
Here's my ATC. Mine doesn't really have too much information on it. Just a photo of me & my friend (that I talked into coming with me) and a quote that I love on the back. I used Gillian Hurst's Funky Foliage Collection (which is really a wonderful kit!) for both sides. Hope this helps a little. (And I haven't made the Keds yet, so I'm not sure that I can help there, but I'm going to try it out!)

I have a question for those of you who have ordered cards from Zazzle. I created my card, and it shows both front and back, but when I send it to the basket to order, it shows up on the order form as "card front" or something like that. Can I be sure I am ordering a double sided card? I don't want to order the wrong thing. Thanks for your help.

Mine was the same - I only saw one side - and it came out perfect.

I designed a pair of Keds, but I didn't order them because they're too expensive (boo hoo) ~ wish I could! Look how cute they are with Gillian Hurst's Funky Foliage paper!

$60 + tax & shipping (all together around $75) cute, but just a little over my tennie budget LOL! I'll pray for a coupon!

Pennynoel- your ATC card is darling! I have never made them before, so was very unsure of what to put on them. Once I got going, I was disappointed that I was limited! I wanted to put a gazillion things on them! LOL!

I never could get through to make mine in Artscow, so, I ordered the chubby cards through Zazzle. The price definitely was better than Artscow - let's hope they are good quality too! They were shipped in less than 24 hours! I can hardly wait! I will keep you posted!

That may sound pricey but if you had them printed at a local printer it would be more than that, so I would say that it is a pretty good price - still working on mine. I thought yours was darling, Penny. Anyone else want to post theirs so we can have a peek?

Sara...the $60 was for the pair of Keds she designed. A little too pricey for shoes. lol Well, at least for us.

Pennynoel, the Zazzle cards price is for 100 cards! The Artscow was for 52 or 54. I think. I could be wrong.... it happens more often lately!

[edit] You're so right, Pennynoel! I stand, actually sit, corrected!

LOL! Yes the Zazzle is 100 for $18.99 and the ArtsCow is 54 for $9.99 (so about the same.)

Well...they contacted me last night. (E-mail.) They asked me if I could post a picture (through e-mail) of the card so they could verify what I was saying. lol
Hmmm. How to take a picture showing 2 sides of a flat card??? I bent the upper corner down (had to put a wrinkle/crease in the card) so they could see and inch or so of that side too. Then sent the picture to them. Then went to bed.

The e-mail this morning gave me a new order/shipping code and said they'd be getting it out to me.

But...other than all that...I'm very happy with the cards. I don't have a Zazzle version of the card to compare them. I was worried about how much stuff I was putting on the decorative side. (Not that the other side is completely plain Jane.) But, I think everything is visible and hopefully cute/interesting.

Once I get the corrected cards in, I guess the boys can play with these. You know, build card houses, etc.

I'm so sorry you had a problem, but happy that they didn't give you any problems about correcting it. I guess that's a good reason to order early. Mine were shipped yesterday, and I'm sort of holding my breath. I say sort of because I can't hold it for a whole week.
