Printing Layouts

Does anyone recommend printing your layouts at one of those photo places in WallMart or Costco, etc. Are there any that will accomodate 12x12 layouts? What's the quality like?

I'm an ink meiser! and I would rather not print my layouts at home. My printer will only print letter or legal size paper anyway.

Thanks for the info.

Hi there, I'm in the UK and we don't seem to do very well on places printing out for us and have to do it ourselves. The solution for 'normal' printers is to work in 12 x 12 but print out as 8 x 8. This is a great size and albums are readily available. I think I break all the 'rules' though and don't use espon paper and especially not epson ink in my printer. I still get excellant results though. Be brave and give it a try at home.

However.... if anyone in the UK knows where 12 x 12 can be printed and how much it costs I would love to know.

I have a friend that does Costco. They are really nice quality, and since the size is 12x18 she prints the 12x12 and 2 6x6 on the same page. She loves how fast it is. I haven't done any printing except at home, and usually do 8x8 or 6x6.

hi there i have been using scrapbookstoshare.com based in usa as by the time i added cost and mail it was still cheaper and more convenient for me to send the files. i have sent up to 40 files and received in them back in just over a week lol great and until i find someone in the uk, i will continue to use them.
they print in 3 types of paper and will even send you a free sample on one of your layouts as an example of the work they do, now you cant do fairer than that me thinks lol
