I love names, I'm always looking for something new and interesting. (I'm an RPG geek, there's always characters to write up, and we HAVE to name the fish, don't you know? Even though they'll be dead in a week...) So let's have some ideas! Please?
My kids have used up some of my favorites:
Duncan Liam
Keegan Brodie
Siobhan Aislinn (<----- shivawn ashlin)
Braedan Gage
And when I finally get my dog I have a few possibilities in mind:
Artemis, Andromeda, Penelope, or Calliope

We have a Braden too! Great name. Can I ask, why will your fish be dead in a week? You do have some great names with different spellings, but am use to some of the "old" names...Michael, Joshua, Katherine Elizabeth, Sara... but will try to think of some for you...will put in on my SG list; makes my brain do some work...thanks for the challenge.

Love your kids' names! I don't have any input, but you mentioned you're an RPG geek. What is it that you play? My husband has gotten me into D&D, WOW and we now are the proud owners of a LARP! Naming characters is one of my favorite parts of playing a game. Some of my favorite character names I've used for the various games are Ellesandre, Faelianne, Janarre, Valannah, Jhaleesa, Adyslaine, Malvienne and the list goes on and on. Yup, I really like naming things too!

Oh, we did have two fish named Zifnab and Fizban from the Dragonlance books. Forgot about those! Also have two kitties named Lestat & Claudia. Would love to have a big fluffy dog named Ambrosius one day (from the Labyrinth) - also almost made my son's middle name Jareth, too.

I LOVE Labyrinth! Awesome, wonderful movie, nothing can make you smile like the magic baby song! I do like the name Jareth, too, but my husband would never agree to it.
We do a lot of D&D, I spent a little time with White Wolf (I went to a couple LARP sessions, it was fun!), online we do City of Heroes, and on the game stations we have tons of RPG-type games. I love rolling up characters for Forgotten Realms, and you get to use the coolest names. My first character was a thief named Lyri.
The fish will be dead because I have a black thumb with anything that lives in the water.
Plus, I just know my kids will be sneaking out of bed early in the morning to feed the fish... My sister lost a 50 gallon aquarium of tropical fish when her 2 yr. old son decided Nemo needed bananas... I laughed then, but now I'm waiting for something like that to happen with my kids...

Hah, I knew there must be RPGers hiding here somewhere...
Baby names are fun. I know a Logan who will be born soon and a Lillith that just joined us a year ago. Really what makes me cringe are things like Apple...eek...
As for character names (love me some D&D) I've had Alaria, Cat, Zarana, Andariel, Zola, Tessa, Illyana,...

I love you not only for what you are, but for what I am when I am with you. I love you not only for what you have made of yourself, but for what you are making of me. I love you for the part of me that you bring out. -Elizabeth Barrett Browning

My brother and his wife are expecting their first baby. It's too soon to know it's gender, but they're hoping for a boy. These really aren't our favorties, but we've teased about these:
Talmadge (my brother's and father's middle name)
Bilbo (my paternal grandfather's name)
My brother calls it Baxter, my mom can't remember that, so she says Bruno.
And finally it's cousin, my 2-year-old niece, Evi, chose either Noah, David, or Goliath. Apparently, she likes Goliath the best, because when she picks out baby-boy clothes for him she says "it's for Goliath." For all we know, it's a girl LOL

I like tradtional names as well. Hence my Cathrine, Annette, Charlotte and Thomas. And Cathrine's name is spelled that way because we got it off a baby grave. She was my husband's great-grandfather's baby sister. Visited that cemetary while I was expecting and liked how the name looked and figured it hadn't gotten much use. Amazing how many people think we just spell it wrong and correct it for her.
